Emergency Department:
The emergency department provides essential and primary emergency medical services at any time to the people presenting to this department. The department is staffed with medical officers, nurses, mid-level health care workers (CMA/HA), and helpers. The department provides emergency medical care 24/7.
Pharmacy Department:
There are more than 350 types of medicines available in the department of pharmacy. It is open 24/7. It is staffed with pharmacists.
Laboratory Department:
The laboratory department provides valuable services to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and is instrumental in delivering high-quality healthcare services. The department has hematological, serological, biochemistry, and microbiological tests to offer to the service’s users. Services are offered 24/7 and the department is staffed by laboratory technicians.
Radiography Department:
The radiography department provides X-rays services and is staffed by radiographers.
Out-patient Department:
The outpatient department provides clinical consultations and is open from 10:00 am in the morning till 3:00 pm in the evening. The department is run by Doctors and Mid-level health care workers.
In-patient Department:
The in-patient department provides clinical care to patients who are admitted with acute and chronic illnesses. Recently, the department provides general medical care to people suffering from COVID – 19. In the fiscal year 2077 & 078, the department provided general medical care to eight hundred and twenty-three (823) COVID – 19 cases and is one of the highest numbers of cases admitted in Gandaki province. The department is staffed with doctors, nurses, mid-level healthcare workers, and helpers.
Isolation Command Center:
The Isolation Command Center is a recent addition to the department after the COVID – 19 Global Pandemic. It provides support to staff working for the ICU, HDU, and In-patient department. It is staffed with doctors, nurses, mid-level healthcare workers, and helpers. Additionally, this center receives questions regarding COVID – 19 and provides counseling services as well.
ICU (Intensive Care Unit):
All critically ill patients are admitted and managed in the department of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It provides advanced clinical care 24/7 and is staffed with doctors, nurses and helpers.
HDU (High Dependency Unit):
All the severely ill patients are admitted and managed in the department of the High Dependency Unit (ICU). It provides advanced clinical care 24/7 and is staffed with doctors, nurses and helpers.
Surgery Department:
The hospital has a modern operation theatre with advanced two post-operative beds. But, it has not been functional since the start of the COVID – 19 global pandemic.
Finance Department:
The finance department is responsible to maintain the accountant and finance of the hospital.
Store Department:
The store department maintains all the stocks necessary for the hospital. The store maintains inventory regularly.
Registration Unit:
The registration unit serves as the center for the registration to receive medical care at the hospital and is staffed with a receptionist.
Primary Eye Care Unit:
The Unit for Primary Eye Care provides basic clinical care related to the eye on an out-patient basis. People can visit this unit to screen for eye diseases as well. It is staffed with an Ophthalmic Assistant (OA).
